A retreat run by single mothers who know exactly what it's like to move between full-time parenting and deepening into time with yourself. This is not the mindfulness-and-yoga retreat you've seen all over Bali. This is a retreat devoted to the women who parent mostly on their own — to your nourishment, your evolution, and the version of you that's still in there underneath the mental load.

It's mothers choosing community over isolation. To meet themselves in new ways, expand what's possible, and practise connection in real time. A rare nine days where everything is organised for you, so you can arrive and just be. That's where the magic lives.

Come as your whole self. You'll be met in whatever season of mothering you're in. Together we'll cry, laugh, learn, and come back to nourishing ourselves and our children at the same time.

We suggest arriving in Bali a few days before the retreat begins — to settle, adjust, and arrive already a little softer.

Each workshop builds on the last — moving you from body awareness, into values, into possibility, into receiving. This is the heart of the Motherhouse.

Daily support.

From the moment you arrive, you're looked after. The schedule is designed to hold both you and your children — weaving devoted space for the mothers while keeping the little ones cared for and close by.

This isn't a packed itinerary. It's a rhythm built around what mothers actually need: spaciousness, rest, real time for yourself, and the quiet relief of knowing your kids are never far. While having dedicated present time to enjoy Bali with our children.

2 hours daily, led by nannies — so you can fully drop into the space without interruption.

Sunset Beach Picnic

One evening we take it outside — a shared picnic on Balian Beach as the sun goes down. No structure, just good food and the ocean.

Group-organised extras

Once the group is formed, we connect before the trip to organise anything extra together — surfing lessons, PT sessions, or other excursions. If you want it and others do too, we make it happen. You only ever pay for what you choose to join.

Food as medicine.

Looking after your body starts with the food you consume.

Every meal at The Motherhouse is crafted with intention, using seasonal ingredients that nourish from the inside out. For 8 days, be cooked for and nourished by our female chef — 15 years of experience in food and 8 years in the holistic health and wellness space. Deeply passionate about nourished eating for regulation, every meal is designed to down-regulate your body, aid in digestion and rest your nervous system.

1 post-retreat integration call — share what changed, what you loved, what you needed. The WhatsApp group stays open for 1 month post-call.

OUR HOME

Two private villas,
Balian.

Set on 60 acres of lush tropical land in Balian, two neighbouring villas sit side by side — giving the group space to spread out while staying connected. Open living spaces, wide terraces, and the surrounding jungle make every morning feel like a slow exhale.

Both villas blend Balinese character with modern comfort. Balian is old Bali — black sand beach, sacred river, village life unchanged for decades. Far from the crowds. Exactly right.
